Why do people say that TNA copies WWE when WWE?
has copied NWA and WCW for years?
Here are some examples….
Cade/Murdoch= Any “redneck Brawler” tag team in the 80s (NWA)
HHH= Ric Flair (NWA,WCW)
DX= nWo (WCW)
Evolution= Four Horsemen (NWA, WCW)
Kendrick/London= The Rock n’ Roll Express
Umaga= Just about anyone with Samoan heritage who’s ever wrestled besides Samoa Joe and The Rock
Seriously…when was the last time WWE was ORIGINAL. Don’t **** TNA because they copy WWE ideas from time to time. WWE has done a LOT of borrowing over the years.
To the second answerer- Please.
The only one that’s barely original is the CM Punk one.
There have been loudmouths and wannabe-ballers in plenty of wrestling promotions.
Jayjay…I didn’t say that they copied LESS. I’m saying that so many people want to act as if WWE has never stolen an idea.
Seth…those aren’t original at all…those are just old gimmicks touched up.
Give me something solid.
Besides, Vader was in New Japan and WCW before WWF.

Probably because anyone who ever gets released by the WWE ends up in TNA.

WWE STOLE CM Punk from Ring of Honor.
They also stole Cor Von from TNA.

cm punk: drug free
rko: legend killer
mvp: randy moss-like n yea i think this is original in wrestling
the rock: comedian(1999-2002)
these are just examples. i never seen these gimmicks in any other promotion

They are young and uneducated. As far as they know the history of wrestling only goes back 10 years, so obviously everything WWE did in that time was completely original.

I think its cause most of the ppl who say that are new fans and just dont know their history those same ppl loved the Attitude era not really knowing it was watered down ecw plots from five yrs before and Vince laughed all the way to the bank doing it, Fact of the matter is parody is just part of the business.
