Why does County music glorify being poor?

Songs like I’m a Redneck Women. She even sings about loving Walmart. I don’t get it. I have been poor in my life time . It is nothing to sing about. I think it is just one more way for the rich to keep us under their thumb. Poor and stupid. Wake up people.
I am not saying all country music ,but much of it.
I grew up with the old country music ,I am mostly talking about the music of today.
