An American redneck is usually a poorly educated white man who works in a semi skilled job, has a bit of a drinking problem, smokes, enjoys loud rock music. He’s not much into reading, doesn’t think much of education beyond high school, but he may have a trade learned at a vocational school.
American rednecks are usually found in rural areas of the South and Midwest, but can be found in communities with heavy industry all over the USA.The American redneck also speaks a substandard form of American English and has a heavy regional accent.
But in spite of their flaws, the American redneck who does not have chemical abuse problems are loyal to their families and loyal to their country. American rednecks are also loyal members of the American military.
