i thought that all american’s have the same rights guaranteed under Constitution of the United States? Maybe while they’re in uniform they have a few rights that are taken away however, as police officers they are also entitled to a few things themselves.

everyone who loves this search kano hustler, he used the line.

Im from the same county as Corey Smith, and the Jefferson (the overzealous JPD)are exactly how he desribes it. We got some good cops but theres more than a handful of cops that think they got a crown. Its bad enough that the old cheif was fired and the GBI investigated, and probably 5 cops were fired. Here you might would rather call a crackhead, the cops would show up to save your life and write you a window tint ticket,a taillight violation, and write you a ticket for going 1 mile an hour over

dont like the police? next time your in trouble, call a crackhead!
February 19th, 2009 at 9:23 am
well, i definately agree with what you are saying. there are a few that that do treat it like a crown. i think that too many young people beleive that they know more about the law, than police officers, who do this on a daily basis for their entire lives. You can simply avoid most of tickets by simply closing your mouth, and showing them respect for the job that they have been trained to do. they have much fewer rights than we do.

Guess you missed the lyric
Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean disrespect
There are a lot of good cops, who serve and protect
And they boldly put their lives on the line
To protect our rights and give us peace of mind
But for every cop who thinks his badge is a crown
This song is for you, and I’ll never bow down …

February 26th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
But I do love every dawg. thats it though
February 27th, 2009 at 5:24 pm
I agree with a part of your lyrics… why don’t you shut the f*** up? You have to have one of the most *** voices I’ve heard. A few bad apples ruins them all, is that your message? Well if that’s the case you are one of the bad apples songwriting, and you hurt it more than you help it. It’s no wonder that your only success is in the bars. I would have to be drunk as hell also, to stand through one of your shows.

Oh geez. Liten up a little. Do you know anything about Corey Smith? He IS an artist. You should try listening to some of his music. This song was made to be amusing. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want to listen to something more meaningful from him, Try “Stand my Ground” or “I’m not gonna cry”.

although this song is about the jefferson police, this song has the Arcade police written all over it. It actually between athens and jefferson and they are notorious in ga for passing out tickets.
Their revenue from traffic violations is exponentially higher than any other town their size, and they are able use that money to suport their po’dunk town. **** the Arcade police!!!

The whole reason Corey Smith is “mad as hell” is because the police in his hometown, Jefferson, Georgia, were corrupt. Not only officers, but also the Cheif of Police was corrupt. Eventually, their corruption was uncovered and particular members of the department were relieved of duty. The particular officer that gave him and his wife a hard time that night was corrupt. Corey usually tells the whole story before performing the song, but he did not in this recording.

I don’t know about your area, and I am sure it is different around the country (and dare I say the world)but in my area, there are a few cops that enjoy being **** about some stuff, and therefore they are seen more in the public eye. I have grown up around police officers and I have come to realize that the people that see an officer’s bad side (or as you put it their “arrogant, power-hungry ****** bag” side) are the people who committed a crime. Basically, obey the law and they wont bother you!
March 10th, 2009 at 10:01 am
Really, they don’t last long?I’ve been harassed a million times by the same fucking cops.I know more cops by name than a group of ten people usually do and I’ll be the first to say the majority of cops are arrogant power hungry ****** bags.If you say the majority of cops are good people then you also have to say the majority of people are good people. You belive that?I don’t.

“making a bunch of drunk people cheer by swearing about the police does not make you an artist”
says who?
March 12th, 2009 at 4:01 am
too bad he’s speaking english, huh.
March 13th, 2009 at 2:59 am
I love how people **** the people who risk their lives to protect the general public. When a cop gives you a “hard time” it is not because they are on a power trip. Have you ever wondered if that police officer might have just left the scene of a murder or child molestation? Don’t you think you would be a little tense in that situation? I agree that there are some cops who like to abuse their power, but those people don’t last long in the law enforcement community.
God bless the thin blue line!
